Massages
Therapeutic massage
Massotherapy or Therapeutic massages are those that use simple hands or devices to treat muscle pain, poor blood circulation and other problems that can occur in our body.
Therapeutic massages are different from aesthetic massages in that they are used as a muscle treatment, eliminating pain, helping the body in healing and not to beautify or help to lose weight.
Sports Massage
When the musculoskeletal system is overloaded, the sportsman is vulnerable to trauma! The main symptoms presented by athletes who undergo intense physical efforts are: muscle pain, joint pain, inflammation of the tendons and the anatomical cavity.
Anxiety and difficulty sleeping due to exhaustion.
Massage before and after physical activity will prevent injuries and assist in the healing process of the body in addition to providing physical and mental well-being.
Relaxing massage
Relaxing Massage lowers blood pressure, giving relaxing effects to the skin, muscles and nervous system. This technique increases the production of the hormones endorphin and oxytocin, reducing stress and reinforcing pain tolerance, in addition to providing a peaceful sleep.
Use of music, lights and relaxing aromas so that you can have a unique moment and experience with yourself.
Trigger Point Massage
For treatment of headaches, muscle, stress, localized and generalized muscle retractions.
It is a point within the muscle or tendon that is hyper-constricted. This spot is painful, radiates and projects pain to other areas in the body and often causes changes in the autonomic system, such as increased secretion of sweat, cold, tears, saliva and chills.
Foot reflexology
Foot reflexology is a relaxing massage technique that works on the entire body, but is performed only on the feet. Treatment of pathologies, muscle fatigue, stress, helps in the treatment and combines with other types of massage perfectly.
Stretches
It is not a massage but I use the stretches before and after the massages depending on the client's needs. THE stretching has several goals, including warming up and muscle preparation for some physical activity, maintaining flexibility and increasing muscle flexibility which in turn increases the range of joint movement (each of these goals has a specific technique that differs over time, intensity and repetitions we do).
Lymphatic drainage
Indicated in case of swelling in the body (water retention), before and after surgery, reduction of body measures due to increased circulation, better oxygenation and nutrition of the tissues, generating better quality of life. High intensity physical training can be used the next day. (Does not remove fat from the body, does not thin, does not work miracles)
Lymphatic drainage is a massage technique that aims to stimulate the lymphatic system - a complex network of vessels that move fluids throughout the body - to work more quickly. The technique is manual.
Myofascial Release
Myofasial release consists of a technique to prevent injuries and relieve muscle pain, which applies pressure to some points or large regions of the body in order to release the fascia (fibrous tissue that covers the muscles of the body) of the muscle. Today, this technique is already commonly incorporated into physiotherapy to relax the muscles.
We can use the technique to increase muscle flexibility as well as improve the “design” of the muscle, seeking a better aesthetic for some sports such as bodybuilding.
Reiki
Reiki is a technique considered as integrative therapy, in which the therapist (or Reikian master) extends his hands under parts of the patient's body to channel universal vital energy in order to restore physical balance, regularize his vital functions and balance the mental field and emotional.
It is not a religion, much less part of any. They are vibrational techniques that physics studies.
Cupping therapy
Cupping makes use of small glass or plastic “cups” on the skin. And through heat or suction, a vacuum is generated between the suction cup and the skin, causing the blood flow to these areas to increase, which helps in relieving pain and speeding up muscle recovery.
Shiatsu
Shiatsu is a therapeutic practice based on traditional oriental medicine and whose main mission is to guide its practitioners to a complete state of health and well-being. How is it achieved? Through the pressure, with the hands and fingers, of vital points of the body, which help to rebalance our internal energies, for a natural and progressive cure. Shiatsu is a Japanese word that means that - pressure (“atsu”) with the fingers (“shi”).
